Section 1 the Agreement • This agreement contains the entire understanding between LGP (aka Looking Glass Photography) and the Client. The only way to modify this agreement is to do so in writing, signed by both parties. Individual provisions of this agreement may be waived in writing and signed by both parties without waiving the remaining provisions.

Section 2 Cooperation • The Parties agree that good faith cooperation and communication between them is important in obtaining a good result.  LGP recommends that the Client provide an individual to assist the photographer in identifying those people they wish to have photographed. LGP will not be liable for missed photographs. The risk of this happening is greatly reduced if there is someone to assist in identifying and gathering people for those photographs. Also, LGP is not liable if key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during photography, or for images missed due to details not given to LGP. Finally, LGP is not responsible for timing or scheduling problems.

Section 3 House RulesThe Client agrees and understands that the photographer is limited by the guidelines of the ceremony official or site management, and by the site itself. The Client agrees to accept the results imposed by these factors.  Though LGP will willingly join the conversation if asked, negotiation with the officials is solely the responsibility of the Client.

Section 4 Images and Copyrights • With final payment the Client is granted a shared, unrestricted ownership of all images.  This shared ownership is between LGP and the Client. LGP reserves the right to use the photographs, but is not liable for how others might use them.

Section 5 Model Release • The Client gives LGP the right to use the photographs. The Client also releases LGP from any claim or liability relating to the photographs.

Section 6 Limit of Liability • In the unlikely event that the photographer is injured or becomes too ill, or has an emergency that prevents him from photographing the event, LGP will make every effort to find a replacement. If, for whatever reason, this is not possible, liability is limited to the return of those payments received. Although LGP takes the utmost care with respect to the photographs, it is possible for them to be lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons within or beyond LGP's control. Again, LGP's liability is limited to the return of those payments received.

Section 7 Retainer and Payment50% of the total cost is due when this agreement is signed. The remaining 50% will be paid with a money order on the day of the event. If this agreement is canceled by the Client for whatever reason, the retainer paid is non-refundable. The remaining 50% of the contract will be owed if cancellation takes place less than 3 weeks from the date of the event.

Section 8 DisputesIf LGP and the Client have a dispute that they cannot resolve, and if the Client feels that a court of law is the only way to solve the problem, then the Client agrees that should the court rule in LGP's favor, they will pay all court costs and expenses incurred by LGP.

Section 9 Exclusions and Omissions • LGP is not liable for anything missed or not specifically noted in this agreement, and LGP's liability for all things great or small is limited to the payment received.
